Loved staying here! Tracee makes you feel so welcome and is also so responsive. I would recommend! It really is a love shack so if you’re tall watch your head on the doors! The property was amazing and seemed like a family’s dream to stay here with kids, so much to do. Was great that it was dog friendly. The views from the cabin are amazing. One thing to note is it is right off the road so it can be noisy. Would recommend earplugs to sleep.

The property is very peaceful and comfortable. My family and I had lots to do and enjoyed every minute of it. Between the river, all the kids activities, canoes and kayaks there was always something to do. I highly recommend this property and will be staying here again.

This place is incredible. Not many places in Colorado where you can get a great cabin (and dog friendly) that is on a river and lake with such great mountain views. This was a family trip with a newborn and Tracee was incredibly accommodating and even provided a pack and play.

This is the hidden gem… beautiful surroundings, peaceful atmosphere, plenty to do for kids and your furry family members! Tracee is a great host and wonderful communicator… she is like “Johnny on the spot” if you have any issues! Kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked and clean. Last but not least, I think a great deal too… given all the complementary amenities.We will definitely recommend and stay here in future, if passing by!

I have not requested any refund or discount, and I don't want one. I want to warn future customers of this place. The river and lake were quite nice. The bathroom was very nice. Apart from that, nothing else was. For the cost I was charged, it should have been perfect, yet it was lacking in every conceivable way. The cabin and grounds were in substantial disrepair and the cabin was also dirty. There were rodent droppings on the kitchen counters. The ceiling fan didn't work. Kitchen cabinet doors were hanging at odd angles. Paint is peeling on the cabin. There is a pervasive stench of the fireplace. Rugs are threadbare. Linens are stained. They care so little for the property that when they watered the plants, the hose was left flopped in the yard, not even coiled on the hanger. Random detritus is strewn on the grounds. The cabin is very not private. For the amount I paid, this should have been perfect. I agreed to the charges upfront, so that's my mistake. Don't make the same mistake.

I am so saddened and shocked at this review. It is completely untrue. I am the owner and the operator and I just spent 100's of hours gardening and prepping my property for summer and my cabins are always the best in the County.Why doesn't he attach a picture or two? That would be so helpful, as this seems totally untrue?The reputation the cabins have. is the most luxury and clean log cabins in the county.His comment about peeling paint is the strangest. Log cabins are made of log. The trim is painted.--and is repainted every two years. Is he just making stuff up? Or has he never seen a log cabin before. I guess you could say the logs are rough-and brown-but paint. We don't paint logs. We put new sealant on them every 5 years or so. The consistent level of reviews my cabins have drawn for 15 years now is 5 star. You can't get 5 stars consistently if you are even close to Jon's description.Our linens are always clean and there isn't trash or a trashy look anywhere. I personally mow all 7 acres myself. I dare him to find one scrap of trash on my property. Show me Jon, please.Where are your photos?Instead we are known as the nicest place in all of Grand Lake.I guess there's no real way to respond other than to say, our other reviews tend to show this is a bunch of malarky.Some people are just awfully hard to please, I guess.I guess I should note that Jon never complained once to me. I saw him in his yard as I was watering his plants and several times as he was fishing. I did leave the hose uncoiled, as we haven't had rain in a month and I am dragging it to save many trees and flowers. I'm 68 and a widow so I do everything myself. But it was nicely laid along the wall so he couldn't trip. I guess he didn't appreciate the 35 or so Columbines I just filled his flower beds with. So sad.As for mice droppings and not clean... That's pure baloney. I have Orkin twice a week and my housekeepers are the envy of the town. I can't believe he'd say such things--yet never tell me when he saw me. Weird.Our carpets are Turkish and some are vintage, but they are lovely. Maybe he has never seen a Persian rug before? Yes, they can be a bit uneven, but that's because they are hand knotted.Crooked cupboards? Well, they are hand made beetle wood. So, I guess they aren't as perfectly straight as pre-fab.The fan in the kitchen doesn't work?The oven and range fan is working fine. There is not an overhead fan in the kitchen. This one also confuses me.

What an amazing stay at a wonderful Air bnb! The location is amazing, right on the lake next to a ton of wildlife (so many different birds on the lake)! The free-use kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards with life jackets was lovely. The views were STUNNING! The air bnb itself also provided a lot of amenities (towels for my dogs, kitchen supplies, nice rooms with living room). Really appreciated everything the air bnb had to offer. Very dog friendly. Overall, absolutely stellar stay. Hope we'll be able to come back again!

Rented cabin one. Okay inside the cabin. Clean and ok for a short stay. Oven didnt work. Outside sitting area not very good. Out in field and no shade. Seats old and uncomfortable. Satisfactory for a short stay.

I am shocked. and so sorry. The oven does work and I am right here on-site. Why didn't you just call me? I would have been happy to run up and show you how to use it.And the hanging swing is covered and has brand new cushions--like I bought them right before Memorial Day. I'll post some pictures for the site of the beautiful new blue cushions. We replace cushions each Spring.It is true that the rest of my cabins are riverfront and have more Willows and Cottonwood trees. But the river front cabins cost twice as much.However, many people rent this cabin for weeks because it is so cozy and much more affordable. You still get to fish the river and the view from the bedroom to Indian Peaks is incredible. You still get to use all the canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, fire pits you also have a private fire pit.There are chairs, swings, lounges, and fishing spots set up all along the river (we have 1/4 mile of river front property and private fishing to the middle)for everyone's use.Aaahh. I sure wish you had called me. I would have even moved a chair you liked from elsewhere on the property if you had just said something. Tracee/owner

Tracee went above and beyond. Even gave my 6 year old some fishing bait. caught a few nice brook trout and a nice brown right in the back yard

This was a very cozy, cute cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful, and of course everything around Grand Lake is beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We loved being so close to the river, very calming and soothing to hear. Being right at the mouth of the lake with easy access to kayaks, canoes and paddle boards… with no obnoxious motor boaters able to encroach in the shallow waters… just perfect! Lots of cool places to stay in Grand Lake area, but none better than Tracee’s place in our opinion. You get a river AND a lake and a great host. We’ll be back for sure!

Tracee’s cabin was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, cozy, and exactly what we needed. It was very easy to find, and everything was spotless when we arrived, which made us feel comfortable right away. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the space. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

the place was amazing! the cabin was perfect for my family of 6 and 2 dogs. the river right outside made it so nice to just sit outside and drink your coffee in the morning. we even had a surprise visit from a moose. Tracee came and let us know about the moose that comes at dawn and we're very grateful since we have our dogs who just run out. Will definitely book again and maybe with more families since there were more cabins around.

I've stayed at Tracee's cabin on two separate trips now and really enjoyed my time and stay with her. This visit my girlfriend fell ill and Tracee was extremely kind and accommodating to our situation! Can't recommend a stay at her beautiful cabin enough!

We really enjoyed staying here! The cabin had everything we needed and loved having a wood burning fireplace, made it very cozy! Directions and description were clear and accurate. Would love to stay here again in the summer to experience the lake and canoes!

Tracee's place is in a great location, near the three main Grand County lakes and the village of Grand Lake. The cabin is quaint but very well-appointed and spacious inside with a fully equipped kitchen for cooking and eating-in and a large bedroom with a wood stove to make things cozy. It was perfect for our romantic getaway but I can see how the cabin and ranch would be great for small families with plenty for the kids to do. Tracee was very responsive and helpful. I can highly recommend. We want to go backI Five Stars.

We enjoyed the cottage. Tracee is a great communicator, she sent some clear directions and the waiver for use of water equipment well in advance. It was easy to find, right off the main road. The cabin looked out on the ranch/camp's gathering space (firepit/playground). This would be a great place for a family reunion, if you rented all of the cabins. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee and tea options. Plenty of coffee to last for several pots (not a keurig, yay!) We also made popcorn- with supplies on hand. Plenty of pots and pans to cook. There's a grill, too and a campfire if you were going to do s'mores. We visited in late September, on a rainy day (snow at highest elevations). We chose not to use the wood burning stove due to my allergy to smoke, but the cabin was stocked with wood, fire starter. We got the cabin warmed up with the heater. The bed was super comfy, daybed, too. Bathroom great. Price is going rate for the area with access to RMNP and a lake, rare in CO.
