Verified Awesome cabin and incredible location. 5 min drive to downtown Grand Lake, 20 min drive to RMNP, beautiful stars at night and kayaks, canoes, paddle boards included in your stay right on the lake. This is every nature/outdoor enthusiast’s dream or if you just want to get away somewhere peaceful. Tracee was very accommodating and responsive. Absolutely loved our stay!

Verified Loved staying here! Tracee makes you feel so welcome and is also so responsive. I would recommend! It really is a love shack so if you’re tall watch your head on the doors! The property was amazing and seemed like a family’s dream to stay here with kids, so much to do. Was great that it was dog friendly. The views from the cabin are amazing. One thing to note is it is right off the road so it can be noisy. Would recommend earplugs to sleep.

Verified I visited this lovely little cabin with my girlfriend and we really enjoyed it. The property sits in such a majestic setting and is very close to Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. Everything was smooth and easy and the cabin had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Verified The property is very peaceful and comfortable. My family and I had lots to do and enjoyed every minute of it. Between the river, all the kids activities, canoes and kayaks there was always something to do. I highly recommend this property and will be staying here again.

Verified This place is incredible. Not many places in Colorado where you can get a great cabin (and dog friendly) that is on a river and lake with such great mountain views. This was a family trip with a newborn and Tracee was incredibly accommodating and even provided a pack and play.

Verified This is the hidden gem… beautiful surroundings, peaceful atmosphere, plenty to do for kids and your furry family members! Tracee is a great host and wonderful communicator… she is like “Johnny on the spot” if you have any issues! Kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked and clean. Last but not least, I think a great deal too… given all the complementary amenities.We will definitely recommend and stay here in future, if passing by!

Verified I have not requested any refund or discount, and I don't want one. I want to warn future customers of this place. The river and lake were quite nice. The bathroom was very nice. Apart from that, nothing else was. For the cost I was charged, it should have been perfect, yet it was lacking in every conceivable way. The cabin and grounds were in substantial disrepair and the cabin was also dirty. There were rodent droppings on the kitchen counters. The ceiling fan didn't work. Kitchen cabinet doors were hanging at odd angles. Paint is peeling on the cabin. There is a pervasive stench of the fireplace. Rugs are threadbare. Linens are stained. They care so little for the property that when they watered the plants, the hose was left flopped in the yard, not even coiled on the hanger. Random detritus is strewn on the grounds. The cabin is very not private. For the amount I paid, this should have been perfect. I agreed to the charges upfront, so that's my mistake. Don't make the same mistake.

Verified What an amazing stay at a wonderful Air bnb! The location is amazing, right on the lake next to a ton of wildlife (so many different birds on the lake)! The free-use kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards with life jackets was lovely. The views were STUNNING! The air bnb itself also provided a lot of amenities (towels for my dogs, kitchen supplies, nice rooms with living room). Really appreciated everything the air bnb had to offer. Very dog friendly. Overall, absolutely stellar stay. Hope we'll be able to come back again!

Verified I absolutely love this area and the cabins. The only concern or recommendation I would make for the property owner is to update the locks. Many of the door knobs and locks are loose and are difficult to use with the key.

Verified We were in Anne's Cabin and it was very clean & cute, but we left a day early because the bed was so uncomfortable. My husband & I got maybe 2 hrs of sleep the first night because it was so hot (even with opening the one screened window in the bathroom) & the memory foam bed was horrible. There is no counter space in the bathroom with the oversized vessel sink that is there. Would be better to have a smaller sink. The river is very nice to sit by. Would have enjoyed to have bushes and weeds cleared to make a path to get there, because it is all overgrown. The campfire was the highlight of our stay. There was a stack of nicely chopped firewood to use, but we could not find a lighter anywhere, so we had to go buy some matches. We enjoyed seeing a couple deer walk right through the property. We also loved having access to the canoes nearby. Wish we could have enjoyed the 2nd night that we booked, but we just couldn't deal with that bed again.

It was a literally winter wonderland. The cabin we got was so cozy! The windows in this place- to die for! Tracee and the groundskeepers were awesome! We ended up extending our trip one more night and it was so worth the 11 hour drive back home haha. We already talked about it and we will be back! We want to go back when the lake isn’t frozen so we can do those water activities available on the property! Tracee, thank you so much!!!

recommendsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Facebook. This was our second year in a row at Space2bsafe (or Loren's Ranch) and we look forward to our future stays! Everything was very clean and it is a perfect setting next to the river and Shadow Mountain lake. One of the highlights was the availability of canoes and kayaks that we could use on Shadow Mountain lake. It is a little bit of effort going against the current on the way back to the dock, but with an adult and a 12 year old in the canoe it was still doable. Enjoyed fires at the firepit outside when weather permitted and enjoyed fires in the fireplace to finish off the night. Plus the proximity to Grand Lake Mainstreet, less than a ten minute drive, was great.
