Loved this little cabin near the lake! The wood fireplace and the clear night skies were so dreamy! It had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay with home cooked meals and lots of time outside. Also, the local town Grand Lake is the cutest place on earth and the cabin was less than ten minute drive to great hiking trails. I wish we could have stayed there even longer! It is near a road but there's no traffic at night and it is still so peaceful. I do wish there was a way for the picture window to have a blind that pulls up from the bottom to block line of sight from the playground but keeps sight of the mountains for those lazy mornings. But that's a small thing. I would definitely go back again and recommend to anyone who wants a cozy mountain cabin space near a small mountain town, water, and trails.Posted on Airbnb

Tracee's place was great! We had two families with kids and it was a perfect spot. The kids can play/fish in the river right outside the place, the kayaks were a blast and the open space play area was a great addition. Tracee is very communicative and a great host!Posted on Airbnb

Justin47 days agoAwesome cabin and incredible location. 5 min drive to downtown Grand Lake, 20 min drive to RMNP, beautiful stars at night and kayaks, canoes, paddle boards included in your stay right on the lake. Caroline59 days agoLoved staying here! Tracee makes you feel so welcome and is also so responsive. I would recommend! It really is a love shack so if you’re tall watch your head on the doors! The property was amazing and seemed like a family’s dream to stay here with kids, so much to do. Was great that it was dog friendly. The views from the cabin are amazing. One thing to note is it is right off the road so it can be noisy. The property sits in such a majestic setting and is very close to Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. Everything was smooth and easy and the cabin had everything we needed. Between the river, all the kids activities, canoes and kayaks there was always something to do. I absolutely love this area and the cabins. The only concern or recommendation I would make for the property owner is to update the locks. My boyfriend took me up to Grand Lake for my birthday weekend and it was magical! It was a literally winter wonderland. The cabin we got was so cozy! The windows in this place- to die for! Tracee and the groundskeepers were awesome! We ended up extending our trip one more night and it was so worth the 11 hour drive back home haha. We already talked about it and we will be back! We want to go back when the lake isn’t frozen so we can do those water activities available on the property! Tracee, thank you so much!!!Posted on Facebook

William Peterson1233 days agoThis was our second year in a row at Space2bsafe (or Loren's Ranch) and we look forward to our future stays! Everything was very clean and it is a perfect setting next to the river and Shadow Mountain lake. One of the highlights was the availability of canoes and kayaks that we could use on Shadow Mountain lake. It is a little bit of effort going against the current on the way back to the dock, but with an adult and a 12 year old in the canoe it was still doable. Enjoyed fires at the firepit outside when weather permitted and enjoyed fires in the fireplace to finish off the night. Plus the proximity to Grand Lake Mainstreet, less than a ten minute drive, was great.Posted on Facebook
Alex Hatfield1577 days agoMy husband and I loved staying in the Lake House with our little girl. I loved waking up every morning and looking out at the lake. Some mornings there was a deer that would cross between the islands. It was so peaceful and I loved experiencing that 30 minutes of peace alone looking out at the view before anyone else was awake. My husband and daughter loved the fly fishing. In fact my husband caught us 2 rainbow trout right outside the house. It was a great surprise and a delicious dinner. I highly recommend this home for any family looking to escape the big city and just enjoy nature, while still staying in a luxurious home.Load more
